What has been your favorite volleyball memory at McCallum?

My high school favorite memory was picture day. Before we took our lights-out picture, we all made a TikTok video. It was very fun and a good bonding moment for everybody.

Does this season feel different because you’re a senior?

For me, it kind of feels the same. I’d say that the only difference is that I feel like it’s going by way too fast.

Have you learned any lessons from volleyball that you apply to daily life?

Yes, I have learned to communicate with people more, and I feel as though my personality has changed a little bit in a good way. For starters, I feel like I’ve become more outgoing.

I plan on playing more volleyball, of course, and I want to major in business marketing.

Teasia Cooks plans to continue her volleyball career in college and major in business marketing.

Outside of athletics, what do you like most about your school?

I would say I like the pep rally. Also, I like how big our fine arts (department) is.

If you could have dinner with four people in the history of the world, who would they be?

I would select Rosa Parks, MLK, Barbara Jordan and Tupac.

Why did you pick Rosa Parks?

I picked Rosa Parks because she was a very brave, smart and caring person. And like me, she believed in human rights. I think we would have some good talks together.
