Ewaste Expo Comes to United States
The E-Waste World Expo is expanding to the US with a new event in Atlanta, Georgia, scheduled for October 28 and 29. This expo will be held in parallel with the Battery Recycling Expo North America and Critical Minerals Expo North America at the Cobb Convention Center.
Trans-World Events, the organizer, expects over 1,500 industry professionals, 150 exhibitors, and 60 speakers to attend the events. Visitors will have access to all three exhibitions and conference programs with a single registration.
E-Waste World Expo North America
The launch of the E-Waste World Expo North America builds on the organizer’s existing format, which takes place annually in Frankfurt, Germany. The Atlanta edition will bring together businesses working across critical minerals, batteries, and electronics recycling.
The program will cover areas such as critical mineral supply chains, battery collection and recycling, and electronics recycling. Confirmed exhibitors include SGS, Metso, Aurubis, and Veolia. Additionally, other notable exhibitors include Steinert, Primobius, Stadler, ERI, Full Circle Electronics, and Umicore, showcasing a diverse range of industry expertise.
Atlanta’s Strong Recycling Growth
Atlanta was chosen as the first North American location due to strong regional investment in recycling. Georgia has become a major center for battery and electric vehicle manufacturing, with the wider US Battery Belt attracting over $48 billion in announced investment since 2021.
This growth is increasing demand for critical minerals and local recycling capacity, strengthening links between manufacturing and resource recovery. Peter Sarno, event director at Trans-World Events, notes that these sectors are becoming increasingly interconnected.

According to the report, the US event has already secured support from several industry associations, including The Battery Council International and The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance. Further industry associations, such as the Coalition for American Electronics Recycling and the National Center for Electronics Recycling, have also pledged their support, highlighting the event’s significance in the industry.
