Saudi logistics event set for Jeddah Superdome
The Saudi Maritime and Logistics Congress will take place on October 21-22, 2026, at the Jeddah Superdome as the event grows to meet rising interest from a sector vital to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 economic plan.
More than 15,000 participants from over 90 countries are expected, including government officials, port authorities, shipping executives, and logistics operators. Hosting the event in Jeddah positions it at one of Saudi Arabia’s key trade hubs, where infrastructure decisions and partnerships influence future supply chains.
Jeddah’s role as a maritime gateway
The Congress arrives as businesses reconsider how goods move through the region. Port capacity, supply-chain resilience, and Red Sea connectivity now drive regional growth strategies. Jeddah Islamic Port, managed by the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani), plays a central role in this transformation.
The two-day event will function as both a conference and a commercial platform. Exhibitors, buyers, and government representatives will negotiate contracts and investments. The agenda includes five themes: trade corridors, port competitiveness, energy transition, infrastructure investment, and technology-driven resilience.
Mawani and the Transport General Authority are primary partners for the 2026 edition, joined by founding strategic partners Bahri and Seatrade Maritime Saudi Arabia, a division of Informa. The Congress supports Saudi Arabia’s National Transport and Logistics Strategy, which seeks to establish the Kingdom as a global logistics hub linking Europe, Asia, and Africa.

The plan outlines ambitious targets, including a 10% contribution to GDP by 2030, an 8,080-kilometer rail network, and annual port throughput of 40 million TEU.
A moment of recalibration for global trade
The event will explore how new port capacity, logistics zones, and digital infrastructure are changing trade between Asia, Africa, and Europe. Sessions will cover the full value chain from shipping and port operations through to logistics and supply chain management.
Mohaned El Mahgoub, Vice President at Tahaluf, said the relocation represents more than a venue change. “The industry is moving closer to the opportunity,” he stated. “Jeddah lies at the heart of Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea trade corridor, just as companies reassess supply chains, port capacity, and logistics resilience. For those looking to expand in the Kingdom’s maritime sector, this is where the market will convene.”
The 2026 program will also tackle the energy transition in maritime logistics, a pressing issue as the sector addresses emissions reduction demands.
